The first picture I took was of the bell Tower. This is a clock tower in Ann Arbor. It is one of the more recognisable buildings in town. I wanted to convey historic recognisable landmarks in Ann Arbor. I also wanted to convey the size of it by standing about 50 feet from it. I still get the whole tower in the shot, but I still am able to show the size of it.

Quite possibly my favorite building on the University’s campus. The Law quad is one of the oldest buildings on campus. I wanted to show the entrance to the quad because of the rich historic value it has and that value permeates the entire quad. Once again I took this picture outside as the sun was setting so it had nice color to it. One challenge that I was presented was trying show the architecture without having any people in the frame at the same time.

The next picture I took was of Hill Auditorium. It was right next to the bell tower in downtown Ann Arbor. It is one of three historic theaters in Ann Arbor. I wanted to show this picture because I liked the marble columns in the front of it. I also liked the lighting of the picture because I took it as the sun was setting and it gave the picture a nice hue.
